jake and haley were also really good at the wedding. of course they had to dance. and went past their nap time, but still were great. it was a beautiful wedding and we even got to be part of the cake process by lending mimi's kitchen out the day before to bake it. it smelled yummy.
i got go to fireworks with eliz and papa on friday night. they were amazing. and we didn't get to hear too much of the styx, foreigners and kansas, but we did get to walk around some 80k omahans.
got to help carrie get her invitations ready.
the kids got to play in an indoor playground, fontenelle forest (with bugs), splash in a cooler, lots of mimi, papa, aunt e, aunt carrie time...even got to see great aunt peggy.
haley was talking to mimi about frogs eating flies and said 'frogs eat flies and i chew lammys.'
we also did a little birthday celebration and mimi and aunt e were talking about her special cake and it could be all hers. she said she would share. how sweet.
jake's vocab is growing. bubbles. papa. mimi. pleeeas. he is also figuring things out and studying everything - from gates, to buckles to crayon boxes to airplane trays...
