today jake and i braved walmart. fun people watching and scary at times. we did find some great deals on underwear and some fun toys. he got more yo gabba gabba underwear that he is really excited about. we found jump ropes and these great velcro balls and baseball mitts that they are having so much fun playing catch with and actually catching the ball.

we went to look at sleeping bags and there was one whole row of princesses and fairy sleeping bags and only one plain blue sleeping bag. jake looks up and says 'that not fair.' and it sure wasn't. hilarious.

jake and i also ran into our friends the wongs today at the post office. i was telling haley later that we ran into them on accident and haley said 'that's not nice mommy' had to explain to her that we didn't hurt them and that it was a saying about seeing them. then the horrified look on her face went away as she realized we did not hurt her friends. she was so worried that i hurt her friends. so sweet and so sad that she thought i'd run them over. i guess that's what happens after an accident only a few weeks ago.

Forgot to tell a good story from the other day. Met the twins at the zoo and jake was at the swamp and talking to a lady who worked there. He was looking at a frog and she said do you like the turtle. He said no frog. She said no it's a turtle. He said frog. Then got frustrated after she said turtle again and walked away. It was a frog. So funny

tonight was haley's preschool graduation for the older kids and the younger classes sing. ms marci (preschool director) held the mic out to haley while singing the hamotzi. haley didn't flinch or back away - she sang sweetly into the microphone. so freaking cute. love it.

Two kids on the potty

Having two kids using the potty is great (j is slowly starting) 5 stickers on the chart. He is asking lots. And I am the one ending up accidentally sitting on the tiny potty seat left on the big potty - not so great.

Pouring rain out. More puddle jumping. Getting great use out of thse boots.

Haley is into putting stickers on her ears to pretend she is wearing earrings.

Tonight is preschool past night. They sing. It will be fun.

Also Haley has signed up for a hip hop class. We will see how it goes.

Jake is being a normal two year old. We are working on sharing. He is eating great with a fork. Loving his colors and shapes. Talking so much. Still can't go any where without Teddy and still asks for 'assi' (paci)

Haley was concerned this morning that the clouds were crying because they had no friends. So she decided she would be friends with them to make them stop crying.

Not the best day

One car accident. Two police stations and a root canal. Everyone is ok. They were great. it was their first car accident. And Haley says at least I got a new car seat.

Went to kohls yesterday with the kids. Haley got all excited we were going and I didn't understand why until we got there. Poor kid thought we were going to 'cole's' house(friend from school) She was so sad.

Big girl conquered the jungle gym at the park. It is curved and high and she climbed it on her own. Her friend sethy helped her and they practiced together.

When offered a snack she said nicely 'I'm allergic to eggs and nuts is it ok to eat' very smart.
