Sad
Breaks my heart when my kids come home upset from school and tell me that another kid has told them that they've ruined their parties because they have allergies. This came from both kids today.

Back to reality tomorrow
What a great week.
We had a bumpy flight in and a little rain but were greeted with smiles all around and super happy Savta Saba and Bubbe. It made the trip so worth it. We enjoyed pizza the first night. Which I think jake had for every meal after and loved it.
Of course there were lots of hugs. We played uno. We went for walks.
Fun swimming. And even Savta went down the water slide. Lots of football playing and more swimming. Jumping in the waves. More smiles. Banana daiquiris (virgin of course) poolside fries and yummy food. Kids even shared shrimps.
We ate at the margaritaville restaurant on the boat. Bubbe was moving around well. Walked on the beach. Listened to music. More uno and head bands game.
More swimming and beach time. Oh yea and naps of course. But lots of laughter and smiling and hugs.
More uno and tacos and pizza. Just a fun relaxing visit. With great weather and company. The hotel is amazing and the kids got to live like rock stars.
They were sad to leave and say bye. Jake wanted to stay the whole week. But we had plans to go to Harry Potter world. So tears and sadness we relived and talked about our fun times and planning another trip.
We headed in the rental car down to Orlando. We all napped except mike.
Three hours later we check into our very retro hotel on universal studios campus. Met up with mimi and papa.
The rooms were tiny compared to where we just came from but we had tons of food from Savta Saba and Bubbe and we had connected rooms. So the kids were happy. We changed and headed down to the lazy river.
Enjoyed some more swimming. Dinner at Olive Garden. And had to get ready for an early morning. Relaxing was over. Ha jk
Early start to get to Harry Potter world left at 745. It was magical to walk in. Kids got interactive wands and even mommy. Because she wanted one too. Why not. Jake was quick to pick up spells and get things working. Then haley got a hang of it and mommy was the slowest. Papa tried and was able to get some stuff moving too. Daddy was quite good like jake and haley. Mimi might be a muggle.
They went on the hippgriff ride. Kid friendly roller coaster. Then olivanders and then got Wands. We walked around. Butter beer was so sweet.
Lunch was fun at the three broomsticks. Then the train to London and diagonalley.
We were pretty pooped. We looked around a bit and then headed back to swim.
More lazy river and yummy food then early bed for day two and our last day. We wanted to get into gringotts and see hogwarts. We got a tour of hogwarts, then rode the train the other way and waited an hour in line for gringotts but it was so fun. Big drops and fun ride.
We did some more magic. And nocturn alley. The kids faces lit up using their wands. They called ministry of magic. Saw the knight bus. So many fun experiences. Tried some yummy ice cream. Oh had lunch at the leaky cauldron before the ice cream.
Haley waves to all the characters and is so happy and cute.
Jake carries his wand every where. Jake got scabbers and haley got a pigmy puff she named rose.
What a great trip. So lucky to have amazing grandparents to share it with.

Meet us at the airport when we get home and back to the real world.
In a week I have my surgery and things will slowly hopefully get better for me. Looking forward to not being in pain. Even though this trip was fun. I had to try not to complain too much with my pain and side twisting and stabbing. I had to remind myself how lucky I am and see how happy the kids were. It really was magical at Harry Potter world and relaxing at margaritaville. So fun.
