we're starting to really understand the difference between boys and girls. we've heard it from others and we've seen it, but now we are REALLY seeing it. we thought haley was tough and rough, but jake is a totally different story. tonight was the first real bloody nose due to a fall. it was not pretty. looks like he'll have a pretty good bruise. i'm covered in blood splatter, but he was breathing fine and up and running around in minutes. of course with blood dripping every where and he wouldn't let us ice his nose or wipe it. i know i know - rub some dirt on it right. i'm sure he will tomorrow. i think this will be the beginning of scrapes and bumps and bruises. but it's so hard to see your kid's blood and be helpless.
but then you see the video below of his evil laugh...it's hilarious just to see how quick they recover and aren't phased.
