jacob buddy cohen

this morning while haley was walking into preschool she says really loudly 'i'm haley abigail cohen' very proudly. not sure why - it's not like we've been practicing. it was pretty cute. then the preschool director asked her if she knew her brother's name and she said 'jacob buddy cohen' i couldn't stop laughing. i guess we call jake buddy lots. his middle name is david, but we really haven't talked about his full name much.

today i tried a new recipe and baked my first loaf of bread. i love baking. i should do it more often. i made chocolate banana bread - haley proof. it is sooo yummy. i'll be making it more often. the kids are devouring it and the house smells yummy. mike is out of town and not around to do the dishes though :(

this morning it was raining and haley finally got to use her monkey umbrella. i usually forget about it, but remembered after a year :)

jake's molar is almost in. he has been really good. his new favorite toy is my wipes carrier from the diaper bag. he is entertained for hours by it.

some how we have lost all of his pacifiers (which is good since we want to ween him off of them) today i found one in the fridge. i think he is stashing them.

the sun is shining and the kids are up from their nap. we are full of choc banana bread and i think it's time for a walk.

oh yea - i asked haley to find something yesterday (i forgot what now) and she said i have to twinkle think twinkle think twinkle think. it's what abby cadabby says on sesame when she tries to solve problems.
