from our cute little newborn with perfectly spiked hair. to the sweet, sensitive, thoughtful boy now...he is strict to follow the rules and to make sure everyone else follows them. just like his mommy.

jake is wise beyond his years. he gives great advice and really thinks deeply about things. he catches on to things i don't. it's amazing. he is a momma's boy. we adore him.
look at that face. it says a lot. our little boy has always been quite a character. many characteristics like mine, but many like mikes. he is organized and likes things a certain way like his daddy. he is logical. he likes to follow rules and makes sure everyone is treated fairly. he is a feelings person like me. he asked about donating his organs and what happens to his bones. he is scientific and wants to know how everything works just like his dad. haley is just like me about the spiritual and creative stuff. i understand both of my kids randomness - totally me.
their smiles light up a room. we are very lucky.
two days and jake will be 5.
