we have gotten a lot calmer and grown a lot. we have been ok with asking questions, reading labels and our friends have been very supportive. it has become more habitual as they get older. i am careful to not use the word easier. we still have scares, ER visits, hives, etc. but we learn something new every day. just got back from allergist. they did great today. more tests. some good news and some bad. they asked all the right questions and amaze me.
the allergist loves the kids. haley is going to do a food challenge for pecans. and jake is going to do a food challenge for egg. haley was a bit concerned about her numbers. she asked what her last numbers were for her almonds she outgrew. great question. the allergist was impressed. smart cookies. we got some good and some bad news.
haley is not allergic to small animals.
jake is allergic to cats and dogs.
haley and jake have great lungs. no wonder they are swimming like fish :) yay. no signs of asthma
our doctor has been amazing. she sat with us today going over lots of stuff.
