little stinker

here's a bit of a snapshot of my day:

mornings are always crazy getting everyone, up, dressed, fed and out the door...i'll spare you most details. somehow i lost a poopy diaper in the midst of craziness. and had to take a few minutes to ask the kids where the diaper that i put on the counter went (i usually wrap it up in a separate bag and throw it out). jake giggles and so i knew he placed it some where and i didn't have time for hide and seek of the poopy diaper. so i had to ask sternly. he looked sad and defeated, but he showed me where he hid it. thank goodness because i would not have found it in the drawer he had hid it in until it had stunk up the whole house. i quickly grabbed it and wrapped it up in a plastic bag and threw it out. scooped up the kids and made it to class on time with clean undies, diapers and kids fed and dressed...yay. another successful drop off. i know people never see or hear about the behind the scenes...this is why. but they see the crazy look of panic in the mom's eyes and know it has not been a good morning. :) today was better than yesterday's fits about what outfit to wear. and jake has not started those fits yet - thank goodness.
