paci missing

we are down to only 2 pacifiers because i don't want to buy more. we are trying to cut down. jake is definitely more into his pacifier than haley. which is fine and i need to come to terms with the fact that he might need them a bit longer. he is only 9 months almost 10. anyways - so i searched the whole house top and bottom and cleaned while looking for it. now going through the toys is a bit ridiculous since it could get lost in the little knick knacks of stuff...no paci. so throughout the day i searched... it's 11 pm and i'm wanting to go to bed and jake is sleeping fine, but i know that i want the paci in the crib for when he wakes up and i don't want to get up at 4 in the morning. so i go through the house again. then i think of one last place it could be. ....his sleep sack. geez. if i had only looked there first. it was in the bottom of his sleep sack. grrr. so now he has it in his crib for when he wakes up. he will just reach over put it in his mouth, roll over and go back to sleep and spit it out....all that searching for me to not have to get up in the middle of the night. yup.
