stir it up

today haley and i baked a yummy special choc cake. haley had fun stirring and mixing. we need to work on keeping the ingredients in the bowl and the spoon, but she did pretty good and only got a little chocolate on her. of course i had her in a white sweater. not smart. we listened to 'stir it up' bob marley style...i know toler would not approve...as we baked.

and tonight we enjoyed it with frozen vanilla yogurt. yummy. haley had it all over her face and crashed hard. maybe the kids will sleep late after we stuffed them. (which means they will be up at 5...) oh well.

tomorrow is errand day. we are going shopping for some fall clothes.

today jake sat up really well on his own for a long time. he did so great sitting and playing on his own. i love that the two of them can sit and play together on their own. so i can get some 'work' done and some facebooking/blogging/photo uploading.
